This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.
About Me
- Cheryl
- I am usually typing on a computer most of the day, but today I am trying my hand at a new project: My 2011 365-Day Photo Journey. I gained a love for photography when I was required to take a fine arts class for college--I chose photography. The course required a lot of work--Professor Loehr saw to that--but it opened my eyes to a new world. It's been many years since I took that class and I don't know how much I actually remember, but following Laura Delagal's 365 Photo Journey and watching my niece's love for taking pictures has peeked my interested in photography again. Although I don't have a professional camera, I did receive a really nice Sony digital (point-and-shoot) camera from my sweetie for Christmas this year. Going through some difficult times in my life, I thought that undertaking my own 365-day photo journey might be a way to relieve a little stress and have some fun with my new toy. Through this journey I will capture some of life's joy and its pain, but I will also be able to refocus the lens of my life on the many wonderful things that God has created. Well, here goes. Wish me luck!

Day 46 - 2/15/2011
Today it was absolutely gorgeous outside. The weather was so pretty that some students took their bookbags outside and sat out on the lawn to study. I can't say that I blame them. It was just too pretty to be inside, but that's where I was--behind my computer. :-(

Such a bummer to be stuck inside on a day like that! Seeing students lounging on the grass during warm spells like this always made me giddy about the impending spring!
ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful here, too. Sorry you couldn't be out enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your question, I'm using Photoshop for my watermark...but you could add text with a paint program, too. I think the only difference is you'd have to create the text everytime in Paint and you wouldn't have the opacity choice (I think...). Hth.
You already have green grass!! So jeleous! I am always hesitant to take pictures of strangers, but would love to try it one day..
ReplyDeleteLucky you on having the sun out. We have that kind of weather last week but it's taken away from us. For the whole week, we'll be experiencing some crazy rain, hail, thunderstorm and snow in the Sierras. I am crossing my fingers it'll all go back to normal. In the meantime, I am enjoying your shots!
